After pushing for almost 2 and a half hours the decision was made that a cesarian section was necessary.
We finally got Heather out of the OR recovery and into a normal recovery room at about 9:30 AM today.
We both took a nap until 2:30 PM when they brought Rhys to us. Rhys is now eating happily for the first time.

He's beautiful!!!! Brose, that pic of you and Rhys is the best father/son newborn pic i've ever seen. Brought tears to my eyes!! Poor Heather went through the ringer last night - but what a wonderful present!!! He's just so cute and perfect!! Can't wait to give him lots of snuggles!
So how long was he? He looks pretty long - even wrapped up..

Oh my god, He is so adorable! You guys must carry those cute baby genes. Ambrose, I love the picture with you and Rhys, it is so sweet! You are totaly the proud papa. Heather, you did so well! I am so proud of you! Sounds like it was a rough delivery, but it makes it all woth it dosent it? I CAN'T WAIT to meet him! Get as much rest as you can (if you can!) and please call me when you guys are feeling up to it. Congragulations!
