Sorry, Uncle G, no b'day nephew for you...

We went into the hospital this afternoon, just to see what the deal was...and after 2 1/2 hrs in triage, they finally got me into a bed to check me. They decided, no, I'm not leaking, but they did end up testing me for pre-eclampsia! I guess I had protein in my urine, and my blood pressure has been going up, plus the swelling...but the blood test came back normal. They sent me home, but put me on bed rest until Fri morning, which is my next dr's appointment. So we'll see what happens at that appointment...if my blood pressure is still high, they may decide to induce me on Friday. That is, of course, assuming I don't go into labor on my own before then, since I was contracting every 5-7 min while in triage. Apparently they weren't strong enough to stay at the hospital, but it shouldn't be too much longer now, one way or another!
